Anne is the Senior Director for Evolve Ventures. She supports the Evolve portfolio companies in the area of operations and people strategy. She also leads the charge on driving operational effectiveness of the Ventures team and their strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Evolve, Anne was Chief Operating Officer for Verb, a conscious leadership learning and development platform. She was also Chief Operating Officer for ReUp Education, a mission driven company supporting adult learners seeking to achieve their college degree. Her career includes a series of executive leadership roles at Borders Books & Music, as well as building a startup in the ebook space. She brings a wealth of experience in leading purpose-driven organizations to achieve operational excellence through innovative people strategies.

Anne holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan. Anne has served on multiple non-profit boards and has a strong track record of empowering women in the workplace through mentoring and networking.

Anne lives in the Bay Area with her dog Charlie, and is a lifelong learner with passions for reading, cooking, hiking, and football.
